CU FREESKI TEAM COACHING POSITIONS

The CU Freeski team is looking for qualified and passionate coaches to coach our FWQ athletes. Seasonal position with competitive pay working 1-2 days a week (mainly on Saturdays) and paid travel opportunities for competitions. Weekly practices at Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, and Winter Park. Our team is adding snowboard athletes this year so skiers and snowboarders are welcome to apply. Coaching for the CU Freeski Team offers the unique opportunity to coach high level adult FWQ athletes. Female coaches are strongly encouraged to apply as we are looking to add more women to our coaching staff.

Desired qualifications:
  • Previous Big Mountain coaching experience (2+ years)
  • L100 Coaching Certification from IFSA
  • Previous FWQ competition experience
Required qualifications:
  • Expert skier
  • Previous Big Mountain competition experience (2+ years)
  • Ability to instruct and demonstrate technical skills
  • Availability to work at least 1 day on snow most weekends during the season
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead a group of athletes without supervision
Benefits:

The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club is seeking motivated individuals to join our Freeride team. These are part time seasonal positions between 10-20 hours/week with additional opportunity for competition travel.

- Freestyle/Freeride competition experience
