REMINDERS
- The IFSA Junior Series structure was modified for the 2023 season and beyond. Ensure that you have reviewed the changes and understand the updated rules for the upcoming 2023 competitive season. CLICK HERE to read up. Registration for 2* Regional Series events will remain the same and shall be open to all IFSA athlete members and conducted on a first come, first served basis.
- Access to 3* National events is changing for the 2023 season. As in years past, registration will first be made available to Pre-qualified athletes followed by Team Quota athletes selected by each team's head coach.
- For the 2023 season, the IFSA will expand the Pre-qualified athlete list from approx. 125 athletes to over 400 athletes representing 22% of each division with the goal of primarily filling 3* National events with Pre-qualified and Team Quota athletes. Open registration to 3* National events for athletes who are NOT Pre-qualified or selected for Team Quota will be available on a very limited basis and will be offered first come, first served. Some 3* National Series events may not offer Open Registration, dependent on demand. Athletes who do not gain entry to the 3* National Series will compete in the 2* Regional Series.
IFSA NATIONALS REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Athletes may register for a maximum of THREE Junior National competitions.
- If you register for more than three National Series events, you will be refunded and deleted from the roster. We will not be able to refund the transaction fee.
- The best TWO of THREE Nationals Series finishes will count toward the IFSA Overall ranking for 12-14 and 15-18 age categories.
- We expect to conduct very limited Open Registration for the 3* National Series events. Only athletes on the Pre-Qualified list or those selected for Team Quota will be guaranteed access to the 3* National Series.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR NATIONALS
Pre-Qualified Registration - Nov 14-16, 2022
Pre-Qualified athletes (listed below) will register first. These athletes will be emailed individually with event registration instructions on Monday November 14, prior to the registration opening on Monday, Nov 14 at 5:00 PM MST. All Pre-Qualified athletes are guaranteed access as long as they register within the window. Pre-Qualified athletes must register before 11:59 PM on November 16 or THEY FORFEIT THEIR SPOT.
Team Quota Registration - Nov 23-25, 2022
Following Pre-Qualified registration, Team Quota athletes will register on The Driven between Nov 21-23, 2022 using instructions and a passcode provided by their coaches. Team Quota athletes must register before 11:59 PM on Friday, November 25, 2022 or THEY FORFEIT THEIR SPOT.
Open Registration
The IFSA Admin team will assess availability in our 15 National Series competitions following the conclusion of Pre-Qual and Team Quota registration. Open Registration will be conducted on a very limited basis as space in each division allows. We will provide updates via Rope Drop emails regarding Open Registration status and availability within each division per event.
For all divisions that are full, waitlists will be offered for every 3* National event during Open Registration. The order in which you register determines your position on the waitlist. Waitlists are managed on a per-division basis. (i.e. When a 12-14 Male Snowboarder requests a cancellation, he will be replaced by the first 12-14 Male Snowboarder on the waitlist).
