IFSA Junior NORAM Champs at Whistler/Blackomb

The 2016 International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA) North American Junior Freeride Championships will be held at Whistler Blackcomb April 6-9, 2016. The top 160 athletes will be invited to the Canadian resort this year for the North American Championships based on the athletes’ national or regional rankings.

Whistler Blackcomb, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, receives an average annual snowfall of 11.63 metres (38.2 feet) and is known for having excellent spring conditions well into May. The resort boasts a whopping 8,171 acres and some of the best big mountain skiing terrain in the world.
