2018 Smugglers' Notch Friendly Freeride - Not sanctioned by the IFSA
THIS EVENT IS NOT SANCTIONED BY THE IFSA, IFSA JUNIOR RANKING POINTS CANNOT BE EARNED AT THIS EVENT.
This event is meant to introduce new riders to the sport of competitive freeride in a fun, low-pressure environment. Come join us for the fun!
We are going to run the 3rd annual Smuggs’ “Friendly” Freeride competition on Sunday, March 25th for skiers and snowboarders age 14 and under. Our goal is to give first timers and inexperienced competitors a low cost, low pressure opportunity to try out our awesome sport! And our more experienced young rippers are welcome to play too, the more the merrier. The venue will be Full Nelson, and athletes will take one competition run. Following the competition we will host a potluck in our clubhouse. Bring a dish or snack food or something if you are able, but it’s not required to participate.

8:00-9:00: Registration- Smugglers’ Notch Ski and Snowboard Club (SNSC)
9:00- 9:30 Mandatory Athletes meeting - outside club
9:30 -10:30: Venue inspection
11:00-3:00: Competition
4:00 - Awards and Potluck - SNSC - Event Date: March 25, 2018
